truTV To Be in HD on DirecTV For NCAA Tournament

Reported today by John Ourand of the Sports Business Daily, just in time for the NCAA Tournament, DirecTV announces it will pick up truTV’s game feeds in 21st Century, crystal clear, high definition. While truTV won’t be in full-time high def on DirecTV until later this year, at least the NCAA Tournament games will be and that is a big plus for sports fans who have become accustomed to seeing broadcasts in HD.

The official announcement came via Twitter around 1:15 p.m. Eastern.
