Westwood One Sports to Air Rare Sunday NFL Quadrupleheader

This Sunday, Westwood One Radio will have the opportunity to air four NFL games in a span of 13½ hours. Starting at 1 p.m. ET and running until 2:35 a.m. on Sunday, Westwood One will have an afternoon doubleheader followed by an evening twinbill.

Westwood One will offer Seattle at Indianapolis followed by Denver at Dallas on Sunday afternoon. Then in primetime, Westwood One’s Sunday Night Football game will be Houston at San Francisco and then San Diego at Oakland. The NFL moved Chargers-Raiders to late night on Sunday from its original 1:25 p.m. PT start due to the Oakland A’s playing in the MLB Postseason.

Network will Broadcast an Unprecedented Four NFL Games Back-to-Back-to-Back-to-Back

The unprecedented lineup is due to a stadium conflict in Oakland where the A’s and Raiders share a facility.  The Chargers at Raiders game originally scheduled for the afternoon was moved to the evening, thus creating an additional NFL window.

WestwoodOne will broadcast exclusive national audio of the following four NFL games this Sunday (complete with play-by-play/analyst assignments):

  • 12:30pm ET, Seattle Seahawks @ Indianapolis Colts…Dave Sims/Mark Malone
  • 3:45pm ET, Denver Broncos @ Dallas Cowboys… Chuck Cooperstein/Trent Green
  • 7:30pm ET, Houston Texans @ San Francisco 49ers…Kevin Kugler/James Lofton
  • 11:15pm ET, San Diego Chargers @ Oakland Raiders…Tom McCarthy/Rod Woodson
