2015 World Series Coverage Details

The World Series gets underway tonight with the Kansas City Royals getting home-field advantage thanks to the American League winning the All-Star Game back in July. Tonight, the Fall Classic begins as Fox will air the games. ESPN Radio will carry the games for the listening audience and MLB International will handle the viewership abroad.

FOX SPORTS

Fox will have Joe Buck, Harold Reynolds and Tom Verducci in the booth. Erin Andrews and Ken Rosenthal will report from the field and the dugouts throughout the series. Fox will bring its MLB studio team led by Kevin Burkhardt to Kansas City and his old New York stomping grounds at Citi Field.

Joining Burkhardt will be guest analyst Alex Rodriguez, Pete Rose, Frank Thomas and Raul Ibañez.

ESPN/ESPN RADIO

ESPN will have coverage of the World Series on TV through Baseball Tonight. The show will be live in both Kansas City and New York. Karl Ravech will host and he’ll be joined by Jessica Mendoza and Curt Schilling. Buster Olney and Tim Kurkjian will be the reporters.

On radio, Dan Shulman and Aaron Boone will call the games. Chris Singleton will serve as the reporter during the action. Marc Kestecher will be pregame host and he’ll be joined by reporter Peter Pascarelli.

Tampa Bay pitcher Chris Archer will be seen on TV during Games 1 and 2 and again during Games 5 through 7. He’ll join Shulman and Boone on the radio broadcast for selected innings for Games 1 and 2 and Games 5 through 7.

MLB INTERNATIONAL

Matt Vasgersian and John Smoltz will call the games for the international audience.
