More Friday Links

I wanted to get the first part of the links up so I could work on some more.

Bob Wolfey of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel looks at a new radio post game show devoted to the Brewers. It’s not even on the team’s flagship station.

Judd Zulgad in the Minneapolis-St. Paul Star-Tribune says the firing of two Clear Channel executives don’t bode well for a local sports radio talk show host.

John Maffei of the North County Times says ESPN will miss having Dan Patrick around.

Larry Stewart, as usual, has two stories in Friday’s edition of the Los Angeles Times. Story #1 is on the ESPY’s which usually is a laughfest, but it also raises money for cancer research which Stewart says is no laughing matter. Stewart’s second story is a news and notes column which talks about Patrick’s departure. Because Stewart could not reach Patrick, he says Patrick “could” be leaving for The Content Factory, but this appears to be confirmed.

Tom Hoffarth in the LA Daily News says there’s no way for Los Angelenos to avoid the Barry Bonds homer watch this weekend (Dodgers play the Giants through Sunday). Hoffarth also says Dan Patrick’s move to The Content Factory is a bit hazy.

We’ll have an update later.
