PHILADELPHIA- (February 17, 2011) – Comcast SportsNet, the leader in local sports, debuts a new Sixers magazine show, “Sixers City,” hosted by Ron Burke on Tuesday, February 22 at 11 p.m. “Sixers City” joins Comcast SportsNet’s comprehensive lineup of Sixers coverage, including live game coverage, “Sixers Pregame Live,” “Sixers Postgame Live,” and extensive online coverage on CSNPhilly.com.
Each week on “Sixers City,” host Ron Burke goes 1-on-1 with Sixers coaching staff, including Coach Doug Collins. Topics discussed will include pressing issues facing the team and breaking down the finer points of the game. Fans will be able to interact with the program through Comcast SportsNet’s Twitter and Facebook pages. Plus, viewers will catch up with the team both on and off the court as the team goes through the rigors of the season. “Sixers City” will air every Tuesday on Comcast SportsNet at 11 p.m. with replays throughout the week. “Sixers City” will debut on The Comcast Network on Thursday, February 24 at 9 p.m. with replays throughout the week. “Sixers City” will also be available on Comcast On DEMAND.

Sixers’ ratings on Comcast SportsNet have steadily increased throughout the season. In February, Sixers games are averaging a 1.9 household rating (58,000 HHs), a 27% increase over January’s 1.5 rating (46,000 HHs). “Sixers Postgame Live” is averaging a .9 rating (27,300 HHs), which is a 50% increase over January’s .6 rating (18,200) and a 29% increase over the season average.
