Comcast SportsNet Bay Area Airs The Giants World Series Celebration & Parade

The San Francisco Giants will celebrate their World Series Championship with their fans on Wednesday. Starting at 10:30 a.m. Bay Area time, the Giants will hold their victory parade and that will be followed by an event at City Hall.

Comcast SportsNet Bay Area will air the entire four-hour event commercial-free and will also stream it live at CSNBayArea.com.

Comcast SportsNet will also re-air the celebration later Wednesday night at 11 PT.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (October 30, 2012) – Comcast SportsNet Bay Area, the on-air and online home of “Authentic Bay Area Sports,” celebrates the 2012 World Champion San Francisco Giants with live HD coverage of the ticker-tape parade and the City Hall celebration beginning at 10:30 a.m. PT tomorrow (October 31). In addition, CSNBayArea.com will provide live video streaming of the entire parade and civic celebration beginning at 10:30 a.m. The network’s parade and City Hall celebration coverage will be commercial-free and will be presented in full HD.

Comcast SportsNet Bay Area’s parade and City Hall coverage is anchored by the region’s most comprehensive sports news team – Greg Papa, Vida Blue and Bill Laskey (@Laskey19) from the network’s studio; Jaymee Sire (@JaymeeSireCSN),  Mindi Bach (@MBachCSN) and Brodie Brazil (@BrodieBrazilCSN) stationed along the parade route; Amy Gutierrez (@AmyGGiants) with exclusive access to the parade participants; and Jim Kozimor (@CSNKoz), Scott Reiss (@ScottReissCSN), Andrew Baggarly (@CSNBaggs) and other CSN reporters from City Hall, providing viewers with live reports along the parade route, including an inside look at the celebration with exclusive interviews and access to Giants players, coaches, legends and front office executives. Mike Krukow and Duane Kuiper will join Comcast SportsNet’s coverage and will provide exclusive commentary along the parade route.

The parade will begin at the foot of Market Street at 11 a.m. and will continue down Market Street to Civic Center Plaza. Following the parade, on the steps of City Hall, Mayor Ed Lee will honor the World Series Champions in a civic celebration.

Comcast SportsNet Bay Area will re-air the parade coverage later that night at 11 p.m. as well as Thursday (November 1) at 7 p.m. and Friday (November 2) at 11 p.m.
