Announced by both Fox Sports and Pac-12 Networks, Thursday night’s Utah at Oregon State game originally scheduled to be aired on Fox Sports 1 at 10 p.m. ET has been moved to an interesting amalgamation of networks. Because Fox Sports 1 will air Game 5 of the National League Championship Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco Giants, the network won’t be able to show Utah at Oregon State.
So the game has been shuffled to Fox Sports 2, but because FS2 is not available in as many homes as Fox Sports 1, the network has worked out a special simulcast for this week only.
Pac-12 Networks will air the game in its entirety on its networks including its main feed, Pac-12 Arizona, Pac-12 Mountain and Pac-12 Oregon. Pac-12 Bay Area, Los Angeles and Washington will join in progress due to those channels carrying Washington at UCLA men’s soccer.
In addition, five local channels in the home territories of Utah and Oregon State will also pick up the Fox Sports 2 feed. Calling the game will be Fox’s Tim Brando, Joel Klatt and Jenny Taft.
The game will also be seen online through Fox Sports Go and the Pac-12 Now apps.
Here’s the joint Fox Sports/Pac-12 Networks press release.
