ESPN’s College Football Games & Announcing Assignments For Week 8

So we have the ESPN Family of Networks’ schedule of games for this week and it starts on Thursday with a couple of games. It all continues with 16 games on Saturday. Take a look at the entire grid below.

College GameDay & College GameDay on ESPN Radio from No. 1 Oklahoma at No. 11 Missouri, Game on ABC; No. 2 Oregon on Thursday Night; Two Telecasts Between Ranked Teams

College GameDay – beginning on ESPNU at 9 a.m. and continuing on ESPN at 10 a.m. every Saturday and simulcast on ESPN Radio – and College GameDay on ESPN Radio – Saturdays from noon to 7 p.m. – will originate from Columbia, Mo., this Saturday, site of No. 1 Oklahoma at No. 11 Missouri in a showdown between unbeaten Big 12 teams (televised on ABC at 8 p.m.). 

Chris Fowler hosts the Emmy Award-winning program with analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard. Erin Andrews anchors several segments of the first hour on ESPNU and contributes reports, interviews and features during the ESPN portion. College GameDay on ESPN Radio is hosted by Ryen Russillo with analysts Trevor Matich and Brad Edwards. 

ESPN’s Thursday night telecast will feature No. 2 Oregon against Pac-10 foe UCLA at 9 p.m.  The game will be televised in 3D on ESPN 3D. 

Saturday’s schedule across ESPN networks will include two telecasts between ranked teams plus No. 7 Michigan State, No. 8 Alabama and No. 18 Arizona on ESPN:

• The ABC split-national telecast at 3:30 p.m. will see No. 13 Wisconsin, coming off a win over then-No. 1 Ohio State, at Iowa in a matchup between one-loss Big Ten programs or one-loss No. 16 Nebraska at undefeated No. 14 Oklahoma State.
• ESPN will provide national telecasts of three ranked teams in action: unbeaten No. 7 Michigan State at one-loss Northwestern at noon, one-loss No. 8 Alabama at SEC rival Tennessee at 7 p.m. and No. 18 Arizona against Washington at 10:15 p.m.
