When Sirius and XM merged late last year, this was one of the reasons why Sirius subscribers were so happy. Those of us on the Sirius side could listen to the NCAA Tournament, but we could not hear the major college conference tournaments, the ACC, Big East, Big 10, Big 12, Pac 10 and SEC and were restricted to the mid-majors. Now, that has all changed as we’ll get to hear everything through the Best of XM package.

SIRIUS XM RADIO TO BROADCAST GAMES FROM 22 NCAA BASKETBALL CONFERENCE TOURNAMENTS
Men’s and Women’s college basketball tournaments will be available
to SIRIUS and XM listeners
NEW YORK – March 5, 2009 – SIRIUS XM Radio (NASDAQ: SIRI) announced today that it will broadcast games from 22 NCAA Division I college basketball conference tournaments this month, offering both men’s and women’s games to a nationwide audience.
Every men’s tournament game from all six major conferences – ACC, Big East, Big 12, Big Ten, PAC 10 and SEC – will be available to both XM subscribers and SIRIUS subscribers with the “Best of XM” programming package. Women’s tournament action from the ACC, Big East, Big Ten, PAC 10 and SEC will also be available to XM subscribers and SIRIUS subscribers with the “Best of XM” package.
Additionally, SIRIUS subscribers will have access to 11 other men’s conference tournaments, including games from the Big West, Colonial Athletic Association, Horizon League, Mid-American, MAAC, Missouri Valley, Ohio Valley, Southern Conference, Sun Belt, West Coast and Western Athletic Conference Championships. XM subscribers will have access to the championship games of the Ohio Valley and Missouri Valley conference tournaments. XM subscribers with the “Best of SIRIUS” package will be able to hear the championship games from the Big West, Colonial Athletic Association, Horizon League, Mid-American, MAAC, Southern Conference, Sun Belt, West Coast and Western Athletic Conference tournaments.
