The Stanley Cup Playoffs on NBC Sports Group — Day 6

We have a few press releases to post before dinnertime on the East Coast and I’ve been unable to get these to you until now.

This is the slate of games on the NBC Sports Group for Day 6 of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs. Three games tonight, two on NBC Sports Network and one on CNBC. Boston-Washington and St. Louis-San Jose are on NBCSN while New York Rangers at Ottawa heads to CNBC.

I’ll list announcing assignments for the games in a separate post.

NEW YORK – April 16, 2012 – Day 6 – The NBC Sports Group continues to present the 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs tonight on NBC Sports Network and CNBC with three Conference Quarterfinal Game 3s, all with their series tied 1-1. Coverage begins tonight at 6:30 p.m. ET with NHL Live on NBC Sports Network.

TONIGHT

Beginning the night at 7:30 p.m. ET, the #7 Washington Capitals host last year’s Stanley Cup Champions, the #2 Boston Bruins on NBC Sports Network; while on CNBC, the #1 New York Rangers face the #8 Ottawa Senators. Following the two Eastern Conference games is a Western Conference battle between host #7 San Jose Sharks and #2 St. Louis Blues on NBC Sports Network. Tonight’s schedule (all times ET):

COMCAST SPORTSNETS

In addition, two Comcast SportsNets – California (San Jose Sharks) and Mid-Atlantic (Washington Capitals) – will air first-round coverage in their local markets tonight. Those networks will also surround their live games with additional Stanley Cup-related coverage. Tonight’s CSN schedule (all times ET):
