TNT Airs the Entire NBA Western Conference Finals

Starting Monday, TNT will be the exclusive home of the 2014 NBA Western Conference Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs. TNT’s studio and game crews will be live from Oklahoma City and San Antonio throughout the series.

TNT will air a one-hour NBA Tip-Off show before each game at 8 p.m. ET with tap scheduled for either 8:30 or 9 p.m. ET.

As with the Eastern Conference Finals, there will be a three day break between Games 2 and 3 so the NBA can drag this postseason out for as long as possible.

Marv Albert, soon-to-be Golden State coach Steve Kerr and Reggie Miller will be courtside for the games. David Aldridge will be the reporter and he’ll deal with Spurs coach Gregg Popovich.

Here is what TNT is saying about the NBA WCF.

TNT’s Exclusive Coverage of the NBA Western Conference Finals Tips Off Monday, May 19, with Oklahoma City vs. San Antonio Game 1 at 9 p.m. ET

TNT will be the exclusive home of the 2014 NBA Western Conference Finals when the San Antonio Spurs face the Oklahoma City Thunder in a best-of-seven series beginning with Game 1 on Monday, May 19, at 9 p.m. ET. Marv Albert will be courtside to call the action alongside analysts Steve Kerr and Reggie Miller and reporter David Aldridge. TNT’s Sports Emmy® Award-winning NBA Playoffs coverage will open with a one-hour NBA Tip-Off pre-game show at 8 p.m. – hosted by Ernie Johnson with analysts Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith – on site throughout the series to preview each game. The studio crew will also recap each night’s action with TNT’s Inside the NBA postgame show.

Oklahoma City and San Antonio will face each other in a rematch of the 2012 NBA Western Conference Finals. The Thunder won that best-of-seven series in six games to advance to The Finals. In addition to its coverage of the 2014 NBA Western Conference Finals, TNT reporter Rachel Nichols will provide reports from the Eastern Conference Finals.

Additionally, TNT Overtime will provide a unique companion experience allowing fans to watch the games via four alternate camera angles, along with real-time stats, enhanced video replays, player and fan voting elements and the ability to interact with fans via Twitter while watching the game.
