The NBA on TNT’s First Thursday Night Doublheader of 2014

After taking a week off for the New Year, the NBA on TNT is back on Thursday with another doubleheader featuring the New York Knicks and Miami Heat in the first game and the Oklahoma City Thunder taking on Denver in the nightcap.

As usual, Inside the NBA caps off your night.

Heat vs. Knicks & Thunder vs. Nuggets

The NBA on TNT makes its return in the New Year on Thursday, Jan. 9, with a doubleheader featuring exclusive coverage of the Miami Heat and LeBron James heading to Madison Square Garden to face the New York Knicks and Carmelo Anthony at 8 p.m. ET. Marv Albert will call the action alongside analyst Steve Kerr and reporter Rachel Nichols. The second game of the night will showcase a Western Conference match-up when the Oklahoma City Thunder and Kevin Durant take on the Denver Nuggets and Ty Lawson at 10:30 p.m. Kevin Harlan will handle play-by-play with analysts Reggie Miller and reporter Craig Sager.

Inside the NBA with host Ernie Johnson and analysts Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith will recap the night’s action following the doubleheader.
