The NBA on TNT is Back with Another Doubleheader Tonight

Starting at 8 p.m. ET, TNT will air another NBA twi-night doubleheader. It begins with the Los Angeles Clippers taking on the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center.

That’s followed by the Houston Rockets up in the Great Northwest taking on the Portland Trail Blazers.

TNT’s announcing crews will be led by Kevin Harlan and Marv Albert.

The studio crew, coached by gold medal-winning Olympians Allyson Felix and Sanya Richards-Ross, will participate in 100 yard dashes. This has disaster written all over it.

TNT’s Inside the NBA Studio Team to Compete in “Chariots of Backfire: The Tortoise and the Hairless” – a 100 Yard Dash

The NBA on TNT will continue Thursday, Dec. 12, with a doubleheader featuring exclusive coverage of the Los Angeles Clippers and Chris Paul taking on the Brooklyn Nets and Kevin Garnett at 8 p.m. ET. Kevin Harlan will call the action alongside analyst Reggie Miller and reporter Craig Sager. Following the first game of the night the Houston Rockets and Dwight Howard will visit the Portland Trail Blazers and LaMarcus Aldridge at 10:30 p.m. Marv Albert will handle play-by-play with analyst Steve Kerr with reporter David Aldridge.

Following the doubleheader, Inside the NBA with host Ernie Johnson and analysts Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal, Kenny Smith and Chis Webber will recap the night’s action. As part of the postgame coverage, the entire studio crew will compete in the first-ever “Chariots of Backfire: The Tortoise and the Hairless” – a 100 yard dash. Olympic gold medalists Sayna Richards-Ross and Allyson Felix will participate as coaches for the race.
