Hawaii Five-0 To Air After AFC Championship On CBS

On January 23 immediately following CBS’ coverage of the AFC Championship, the Tiffany Network will air an all-new episode of Hawaii Five-0. This is the most watched new drama of the season as it normally airs on Monday nights at 10.

And we like it because we have Asian brother Daniel Dae Kim from Lost and Asian sister Grace Park from Battlestar Galactica.

Here’s the announcement.

ALOHA, FOOTBALL FANS!
“HAWAII FIVE-0” SCORES POST-AFC CHAMPIONSHIP SLOT
CBS announced today that it will broadcast an original episode of HAWAII FIVE-0, the season’s #1 new series,  immediately following one of the biggest events in sports — the AFC Championship game, Sunday, Jan. 23, on the CBS Television Network. THE NFL ON CBS’ coverage of the AFC Championship game will begin at 6:30 PM, ET.
HAWAII FIVE-0 averages 13.25 million viewers and dominates its time period in both viewers and key demographics each week. The top new drama among adults 18-49, H50 is also the most played-back program of the season, averaging an additional 2.97 million viewers per episode when 7-day DVR data is calculated.
A contemporary take on the classic series, HAWAII FIVE-0 is about an elite federalized task force whose mission is to wipe out the crime that washes up on the Islands’ sun-drenched beaches. The series stars Alex O’Loughlin, Scott Caan, Daniel Dae Kim and Grace Park, and airs regularly on Mondays at 10:00 PM, ET/PT, on the CBS Television Network.

That will do it.
