Your Week 9 NFL Viewing Guide

Let’s provide with a few things you should know about The League Where They Play for Pay in Week 9 of the 2012 season.

Byes?
This week, New England, the New York Jets, the San Francisco 49ers and the St. Louis Rams are off. Just two more weeks of byes and we’ll be done.

So it means that there are just a minimal amount of late games again this week?
Yes, just three for Week 9. Fox has two games at 4:05 p.m., Minnesota at Seattle (Chris Myers/Tim Ryan/Jaime Maggio) and Tampa Bay at Oakland (Dick Stockton/John Lynch/Jennifer Hale) and CBS has just one at 4:25 p.m., Pittsburgh at the New York Football Giants (Jim Nantz/Phil Simms).

What about blackouts, Pedro?
Pedro? Well, once again, the NFL avoided blackouts, although for the Thursday Night Football game between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers, corporate businesses had to step in to buy the remaining tickets to avoid the local market from being prevented from watching the game live on NFL Network and KFMB-TV.

Games of the Week?
On Fox, I’ll go with Arizona at Green Bay (Joe Buck/Troy Aikman/Pam Oliver) and Carolina at Washington (Kenny Albert/Daryl Johnston/Tony Siragusa). For CBS, I’ll choose Miami at Indy (Kevin Harlan/Solomon Wilcots) and the late game, Steelers at Giants.

And the Sunday Night Football matchup between Dallas and Atlanta (Al Michaels/Cris Collinsworth/Michele Tafoya) is also worth your time.

Is there anything else you want to mention?
Not really. Oh, set your clocks back and enjoy the extra hour of sleep.
