U.S. Open "Super Saturday" Coverage To Begin at 11 a.m. on CBS Sports Network

Originally, Super Saturday, the men’s semifinals at the U.S. Open in Flushing Meadow was supposed to begin at noon ET on CBS. For many CBS affiliates, that is where the coverage will begin. However, the USTA has decided to begin the semifinals an hour earlier at 11 a.m. ET.

With CBS locked into its Saturday morning cartoon block, it will allow some affiliates to start at 11 a.m., but most will probably air the committed programming. So CBS Sports Network will begin the coverage at 11 a.m. for the entire country, then give way at noon ET to CBS.

Here’s the quick announcement from CBS Sports.
