Enrique Iglesias To Perform at Halftime of Miami-Dallas Thanksgiving Day Game; and Nickelodeon Series Pop Sensations Big Time Rush to Sing National Anthem

THE NFL ON CBS, broadcasting its 52nd year of the NFL, continues its 2011 NFL season on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 24 (4:00 PM, ET) beginning with THE NFL TODAY (3:30-4:00, ET) live from THE NFL TODAY studio in the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City.

THE NFL TODAY features a special Thanksgiving Day story on the Tom behind New England Patriots quarterback Tom BradyTom Martinez.

You’ve probably never heard of Tom Martinez. But without him, Tom Brady might not have three Super Bowl rings and be a two-time NFL Most Valuable Player. Martinez has been Brady’s personal passing coach and mentor since he first met a 12-year-old, Brady, 20 years ago. Six months ago their relationship changed forever when Martinez was given just days to live. Brady has been with his coach and friend throughout his battle to survive. Coach Martinez still continues to mentor his most-celebrated student even as his own health deteriorates. Martinez now finds himself fighting a new battle as he needs a kidney transplant to save his life.

THE NFL TODAY’s James Brown brings this very special Thanksgiving Day story of a friendship and bond that goes way beyond the football field. Deb Gelman is the producer.
