The Sports Business Daily’s John Ourand has tweeted last night’s overnight rating for the Pittsburgh Steelers-Denver Broncos overtime thriller that saw the first use of the modified NFL playoff overtime system:
Source: Tebow pulled in a 25.9 overnight, which would make it the best AFC Wildcard overnight since 1988.

A 25.9 rating is absolutely stunning. CBS Sports officials must be doing handstands and backflips down the hallways in their New York City offices today. I’m sure we’ll get a press release once the numbers are made official by Nielsen and CBS.
We’ll hopefully get local viewership numbers as I’m wondering what Denver saw for its rating.
