Some Saturday Linkage

Let’s give you some links. You know when you get up early on a Saturday and do some errands, you think everyone else is up, especially when you see a lot of cars on the road. So why was I surprised when I called a friend and found that I woke him up? I should know that people use the weekend to sleep in, but I was still surprised at 9 a.m. to find my friend still in bed. I apologized to him. Anyway, let’s go to the links.

You all know the Kelly Tilghman story by now. Newsday’s Neil Best was the one who broke the story in his Tuesday column. Well today, Neil explains in a story how he got that scoop from a professor from Hofstra University who e-mailed both him and the PGA. And in his blog, he expands more on the story by publishing the e-mails from the professor (with his permission, of course). Interesting stuff.

Jim Williams of the DC/Baltimore Examiner has quotes in his blog from Fox Sports’ Terry Bradshaw and CBS Sports’ Phil Simms on the NFL playoffs.

The Dallas Morning News’ Barry Horn says Fox Sports’ Troy Aikman must be doing something right when fans in both Dallas and New York feel he’s slanted against their team.

Jerry Garcia of the San Antonio Express-News has Fox Sports’ Terry Bradshaw expounding on Tony Romo’s romance with Jessica Simpson.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch’s Dan Caesar writes about the Blues’ radio analyst Kelly Chase working from the bench instead of the booth.

That’s it for now. Perhaps more later. And NFL Picks coming up.
