SEC on CBS Scores Once Again

CBS’ SEC offering of LSU at Georgia did well for the Tiffany Network. I didn’t get to watch any sports on Saturday as I was at a wedding, but I can still report on the sports media for you.

The overnight ratings pulled a 4.9 with a 12 share up big from Tennessee at Georgia game played at the same week in 2012.

CBS Sports coverage of 2013 SEC ON CBS college football schedule with No. 9-Georgia defeating No. 6-LSU on Saturday, Sept. 28, earned an overnight household rating/share of 4.9/12, up 75% from last year’s 2.8/6 (Tennessee-Georgia).

The Georgia-LSU game rating/share peaked at 7.1/15 from 7:00-7:30 PM, ET.

CBS Sports has announced its SEC ON CBS football game for Saturday, Oct. 5 (3:30-7:00 PM, ET) will feature *No. 9-ranked Georgia taking on Tennessee.  Verne Lundquist, analyst Gary Danielson and reporter Tracy Wolfson call the contest from Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Tenn.
