SEC on CBS Picks For October 1

CBS has selected the two SEC games as part of big day of college football for this upcoming Saturday, October 1. The network will have a tripleheader, a game involving two service academies at noon, then an SEC doubleheader following at 3:30 p.m.

Plus we have the announcing assignments that will cause a little bit of upheaval for the NFL on CBS the following Sunday.

CBS Sports will broadcast an SEC doubleheader on Saturday, Oct. 1 with the first game of the doubleheader (3:30-7:00 PM, ET) featuring Auburn at *No. 10-ranked South Carolina. Spero Dedes and Steve Beuerlein will call the action, along with Otis Livingston reporting.

The primetime window (8:00 PM, ET) will feature *No. 2-ranked Alabama visiting *No. 15-ranked Florida. Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson will call the contest, along with reporter Tracy Wolfson.

In addition, Air Force takes on Navy (12:00 NOON-3:30 PM, ET). Ian Eagle and Randy Cross call the action.
