NFL on CBS Announces Its 2015-16 Schedule Which Includes Super Bowl 50

CBS Sports has announced a 104-game NFL Sunday afternoon regular season schedule. It includes the NFL on CBS’ first Week 1 doubleheader since 2000. From 2001-14, CBS had to cede the Week 1 late game to Fox due to its coverage of the U.S. Open. Now with the tennis over at ESPN, CBS no longer has to worry about late afternoon tennis in Week 1 and will be able to air a late afternoon game.

As it stands right now, CBS has three NFC crossover games, Chicago at Seattle in Week 3 which is a part of a doubleheader, St. Louis at Green Bay in Week 5 in the early afternoon window and then on Thanksgiving Day, Carolina at Dallas which will kickoff at 4:30 p.m.

CBS will have defending champion New England 9 times including a Patriots-Dallas game in Week 5. Baltimore, Denver and Pittsburgh appear 10 times on the Sunday afternoon schedule.

And CBS ends the season with the milestone Super Bowl 50 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA on February 7.

Here’s the NFL on CBS schedule:
