NFL and NBC Announce No Primetime Flex in Week 13 of 2013 Season

Reports began to surface last night that the National Football League was going to flex the Week 13 Sunday night game between the New York Giants and DC NFL Team out of primetime and put the Arizona Cardinals at Philadelphia Eagles in its place. But as soon as those reports began to surface, the NFL put the kybosh on them.

I won’t link to the report as there’s no need to provide you with a debunked story, but suffice to say it was out there for a few hours.

Anyway, the only flex for Week 13 was the previously announced move of Denver at Kansas City being moved into the 4:25 p.m. ET slot for CBS and the Patriots-Texans game sent to an early timeslot from 4:25 p.m.

Here’s the announcement made by the National Football League through NBC Sports.
