Let’s start off with the Daily Oklahoman which pokes fun at ESPN for running with the wrong story with Les Miles going to Michigan instead of staying at LSU.

Some more reasons to hate ESPN. The sports behemoth plans to launch more websites to offer sports news, sports scores and even more live sporting events online. ESPN President George Bodenheimer made the announcement in New York today.

Next August, ESPNU will begin its HD service.

In a story picked up by the Batesville (IN) Herald-Tribune, Mike Pound of the Joplin (MO) Globe writes that the NFL Network vs. cable dispute is a fight between two immovable objects.

Jeffrey Flanagan of the Kansas City Star has quotes from both CBS and the Chiefs Radio Network from yesterday’s Chargers-Chiefs game.
