DEVELOPING: NFL Owners Approve TV Deals With CBS, Fox & NBC

Just coming in from the NFL Owners Meetings in Dallas, we learn that the owners have approved the deals between CBS, Fox & NBC, 9 year contracts that will run through the 2022 season. All of the networks will pay in excess of $1 billion per year. Add this to ESPN’s deal that pays almost $2 billion for Monday Night Football and the NFL will receive in the neighborhood of $5 billion a year from the TV partners.

There will be no upheaval among the networks, CBS remains the home of the AFC, Fox will hold onto the NFC, NBC continues with Sunday Night Football and ESPN will stay with Monday Night Football.

Greg Aiello, NFL spokesman tweeted this from Dallas:
