CBS Takes Care Of Its NFL Preseason Schedule With Games On Consecutive Nights

CBS Sports has two NFL preseason games this week and will handle both of them on back-to-back nights, Friday and Saturday. Ian Eagle, filling in for Jim Nantz who will be handling golf duties this weekend, and Phil Simms along with the outgoing Sam Ryan will call Green Bay at Indianapolis on Friday. Then Greg Gumbel, Dan Dierdorf and Lesley Visser will be in Detroit at the New England Patriots play the Lions. Interesting that CBS brings back sideline reporters for these games. I don’t think this is a permanent thing.

Anyway, this is what CBS Sports is saying about the two games that are being shown this weekend on the Tiffany Network.
