This Saturday, CBS Sports will tap the Turner Sports crew once again for a Midseason MLB Report. The CBS Sports Spectacular will have host Matt Winer joined by TBS MLB analysts Dennis Eckersley, Cal Ripken, Jr. and David Wells to talk about baseball through the halfway point of the season. The show will originate from the TBS studios in Atlanta. Of course, CBS and Turner are partners for the NCAA Tournament, this is another extension of the partnership. It makes you wonder with Turner airing Sunday MLB games and the postseason, would the two partner up when MLB rights are up in 2013 and put together a bid? It makes you go, “Hmmmmm.”
Here’s the press release for CBS Sports Spectacular for this weekend.
