CBS Sports Outlines Coverage for Super Saturday at the US Open

Earlier today, I posted that the U.S. Open was scheduling the men’s Semifinals an hour earlier, at 11 a.m. ET on Saturday. CBS is putting that one hour of coverage on CBS Sports Network then picking up the first match in progress which will be Tomas Berdych vs. Andy Murray at noon ET. That will be followed by David Ferrer vs. Novak Djokovic.

Then it’s the women’s singles final in primetime between American Serena Williams and Belorussian Victoria Azarenka who is the #1 seed at the Open and is undefeated on hard courts at the Grand Slams.

Bill Macatee, John McEnroe and Mary Carillo will have the call of all three matches. Mary Jo Fernandez will be the on-court reporter. Chris Wragge and Jim Courier will hold down the fort in the studio.

Here’s the CBS press release.
