THEY SAID IT ON CBS SPORTS
CBS Sports tennis analyst John McEnroe on the success of Rafael Nadal and the confidence and belief it has inspired in his country’s athletes including his fellow tennis players at the U.S. Open.

“I’ll take it one step further, I think the reason Spain won the World Cup is in part due to him.  Believing, having never won it before, all of a sudden they have belief because he’s a great champion winning majors.”

I hope to be able to see part of this coverage tomorrow.
