CBS Sports Airs Annual 111th Army-Navy Game

In what was a very good idea, CBS moved the annual Army-Navy game to the week following the college football conference games and it now stands alone as it should. The entrance of the service academies is always worth watching. The game is usually secondary, but it’s always fun to watch. Uncle Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson will be on the call live from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. We have the particulars from CBS Sports.

CBS COLLEGE SPORTS NETWORK KICKS OFF COVERAGE WITH A SPECIAL ARMY-NAVY TAILGATE SHOW AT 1:00 PM, ET
CBS Sports broadcasts the 111th meeting of the Army-Navy football classic, one of the greatest rivalries in all of sports, live from Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa. on Saturday, Dec. 11 (2:30 PM, ET).
This is the second year the game is being played on the second Saturday in December to conclude college football’s regular-season, as part of CBS Sports’ extended agreement to broadcast the annual Army-Navy football game through the 2018 season.
Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson, CBS Sports’ lead college football announce team, call the action from Philadelphia with Tracy Wolfson reporting from the sidelines. Craig Silver, the Network’s coordinating producer of college football, produces and Steve Milton directs. 
A special edition of COLLEGE FOOTBALL TODAY, CBS Sports’ pre-game, halftime and post-game studio show, kicks off coverage of the Army-Navy classic featuring the traditional parade of the Brigade of Midshipmen and the Corps of Cadets onto the field prior to the game (2:00 PM, ET). Also the show is highlighted by the story of Army’s running back Jared Hassin and his family’s West Point lineage. And, as Navy quarterback Ricky Dobbs prepares to play in his final Army-Navy game, he reveals some of his future plans which include becoming President of the United States in 2040. Tim Brando serves as host along with analyst Spencer Tillman and Aaron Taylor. Vin DeVito produces and Linda Malino directs. Harold Bryant is Vice President, Production, CBS Sports.
CBS College Sports Network captures all the excitement, traditions and festivities around the annual Army-Navy game with Army-Navy Tailgate Presented by USAA (1:00 PM, ET) live from Headhouse Plaza (just inside the Comcast gate) at Lincoln Financial Field. Adam Zucker hosts along with analyst Brian Jones. Army-Navy game historian John Feinstein and legendary Army running back Pete Dawkins join the show. 
Additionally, CBS Sports’ broadcast of the Army-Navy game also will be streamed live on CBSSports.com.
