CBS Sports’ 2011 NFL Preseason Schedule

The number of NFL preseason games depends on the network. For CBS, the Tiffany Network has two games and both during the same weekend. CBS airs games on consecutive nights, on Friday, August 26 (my birthday, by the way) and Saturday, August 27. For details, check out the press releases below.

THE NFL ON CBS Preseason Schedule Kicks Off with Super Bowl Champion Green Bay Packers at Indianapolis Colts Live in Prime Time on Friday, August 26

New England Patriots Take On Detroit Lions for THE NFL ON CBS’s Second Preseason Game Following Night on August 27 on CBS Television Network

The CBS Television Network is scheduled to begin its 52nd year broadcasting the NFL with two preseason games during the 2011 season.

The preseason schedule for THE NFL ON CBS begins on Friday, Aug. 26 (8:00 PM, ET) when the Super Bowl champion Green Bay Packers take on the Indianapolis Colts live in prime time on the CBS Television Network.

THE NFL ON CBS will conclude its two-game preseason schedule the following night as the New England Patriots play the Detroit Lions live in prime time on Saturday, Aug. 27 (8:00 PM, ET).
