CBS’ NCAA Basketball Schedule For This Weekend

CBS has a twin college basketball doubleheader this weekend. Involved are BYU, Ohio State, San Diego State, Florida and Kentucky. As you can see, CBS is ramping up for the NCAA Tournament. TNT’s Steve Kerr will be utilized this weekend and join CBS’ Verne Lundquist and Clark Kellogg in San Diego. Here’s what’s involved for CBS.

CBS SPORTS’ ROAD TO MARCH CONTINUES WITH NINE TOP 25 TEAMS, HIGHLIGHTED BY NO. 7 BYU AGAINST NO. 6 SAN DIEGO STATE

Turner Sports Analyst Steve Kerr Joins CBS Sports’ Verne Lundquist and Clark Kellogg to Broadcast BYU at SDSU on Saturday, Feb. 26

CBS Sports’ college basketball schedule continues with top college basketball action this weekend, including a tripleheader on Saturday, Feb. 26.  Action tips-off with *No. 17-ranked Syracuse at No. 11-ranked Georgetown (12:00 NOON-2:00 PM, ET) from Washington, DC.  Following is a Mountain West Conference showdown between *No. 7-ranked BYU at No. 6-ranked San Diego State (2:00-4:00 PM, ET) from Viejas Arena in San Diego, Calif. The day’s action concludes with *No. 13-ranked Florida at No. 22-ranked Kentucky (4:00-6:00 PM, ET) from Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kent.

Verne Lundquist and CBS Sports’ lead college basketball analyst Clark Kellogg will be joined by Turner Sports analyst Steve Kerr to call BYU-San Diego State. Kerr will be part of CBS Sports and Turner Sports’ coverage of the 2011 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship, including teaming with Jim Nantz and Kellogg to call the Final Four and Championship game. Bob Dekas, CBS Sports’ coordinating producer for college basketball, produces and Bob Fishman directs.

Tim Brando and analyst Mike Gminski handle the call for Syracuse-Georgetown. Ken Mack produces and Jim Cornell directs. Kevin Harlan and analyst Dan Bonner will be courtside for Florida-Kentucky.  Ross Schneiderman produces and Mark Grant directs.

On Sunday, Feb. 27, CBS Sports features a doubleheader of games beginning with a Big East battle as *No. 4-ranked Pittsburgh takes on *No. 16-ranked Louisville (2:00-4:00 PM, ET) from Louisville, Kent.  Immediately following, *No. 2-ranked Ohio State hosts Indiana in Columbus, Ohio.

Ian Eagle and Jim Spanarkel team up for Pittsburgh-Louisville on Sunday. Bob Mansbach produces and Andy Goldberg directs. Gus Johnson and analyst Bill Raftery handle the call for Indiana-Ohio State.  Steve Scheer produces and Mike Arnold directs.

AT THE HALF®, CBS Sports’ halftime studio show, hosted by Greg Gumbel alongside Greg Anthony and Sports Illustrated’s Seth Davis, provides all the day’s news, scores and highlights live from the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City.
