AUDIBLES with CBS Sports’ Lead College Football Analyst Gary Danielson
LSU Quarterback Play
I am still not convinced that LSU has really found their answer at quarterback or they just had a good game. Even against Louisiana-Monroe, they were not great on offense. They are maybe one of the three or four best defenses in the country. As well as they played in the second half of Alabama, that really is the only bit of evidence all year that they have been able to play to that level. I just don’t know that the quarterback play has been solved, that they have come out of their shell and the light has gone on. I don’t know if you can take one half of one game and say that. I still need more evidence.
Ole Miss Bowl Game
The Ole Miss players really look at the LSU game as their bowl game. I believe they are going to go into this game and play their best game of the year. They have been able to put a lot of points on people. This is the game where LSU may have to stop the one explosive offense that can put some points on them besides Auburn. They have a running quarterback like Cam Newton. It might not be quite as easy for LSU to shut them down. I do not expect a low scoring game.

And that is it.
