The women’s semifinals are set at the U.S. Open in Flushing Meadow, NY. Number one seed Victoria Azarenka will face #3 seed Maria Sharapova in the first match. And the lone American in the singles, #4 seed Serena Williams will face the #10 seed Sara Errani. CBS will air both matches.
The women’s semis will be preceded by the men’s doubles championship with the Bryan brothers, Bob & Mike, taking on Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek.
Coverage begins at 12:30 p.m. ET and will last until the matches conclusion or 6 p.m., whichever comes first.
Bill Macatee, John McEnroe and Mary Carillo will call the matches from Arthur Ashe Stadium. Chris Wragge will host and be joined by Jim Courier. Mary Jo Fernandez will conduct on-court post-match interviews.

CBS Sports’ continuing coverage of the U.S. OPEN TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS on Friday, Sept. 7 (12:30 PM-6:00 PM, ET) is highlighted by the women’s semi-final matches following the men’s doubles championship.
Coverage is highlighted by No. 1-seeded Victoria Azarenka taking on No. 3-seeded Maria Sharapova, followed by No. 4-seeded Serena Williams against No. 10-seeded Sara Errani.
The men’s doubles championship featuring No. 2-seeded Bob Ryan/Mike Bryan versus No. 5-seeded Leander Paes/Radek Stepanek precedes the women’s matches.
CBS Sports’ “Super Saturday” coverage on Saturday, Sept. 8 will feature the men’s semi-final matches (12:00 NOON-6:00 PM, ET) and will be highlighted by the women’s championship in prime time (8:00-10:00 PM, ET).
CBS Sports coverage of the 2012 U.S. Open Tennis Championships will conclude on Sunday, Sept. 9 (4:00-7:00 PM, ET) with the men’s final.
