CBS Gets Highest NFL Overnight Rating This Season For Pats-Broncos

Do you think CBS knew what it was doing when it fought hard to keep New England-Denver from being flexed from the original 4:15 p.m. slot on Sunday to primetime? With the game going to 79% of the country, (New York, Philadelphia, Cleveland and Phoenix plus surrounding areas were the markets that did not receive the contest), CBS got the highest overnight ratings for an NFL game this season. It’s a whopping 19.5.

I expect a press release coming from CBS and/or the NFL on this today. Those are amazing numbers.
