CBS Ends Its College Football Coverage With The 77th Annual Sun Bowl

On New Year’s Eve, CBS airs one of two bowls not being aired on the ESPN Family of Networks and that’s the Sun Bowl live from El Paso, TX. It will be the matchup between Notre Dame and Miami, two schools that once had an extremely bitter rivalry back in the 1980’s. Now, we have them playing in one of the non-BCS bowls.

CBS SPORTS WRAPS UP 2010 COLLEGE FOOTBALL SEASON WITH THE “SUN BOWL”

Notre Dame Takes on Miami (FL) on Friday, December 31
CBS Sports’ 2010 coverage of college football concludes on New Year’s Eve with the Sun Bowl on Friday, Dec. 31 (2:00-6:00 PM, ET). Notre Dame faces Miami (FL) in the 77th annual Sun Bowl, live on the CBS Television Network. This marks the 43rd consecutive year CBS Sports broadcasts the match-up from El Paso, Texas.
CBS Sports’ lead college football announce team of Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson call the action from Sun Bowl Stadium. Tracy Wolfson serves as sideline reporter.  Craig Silver, CBS Sports’ coordinating producer of college football, produces and Steve Milton directs.
COLLEGE FOOTBALL TODAY, the Network’s pre-game, halftime and post-game studio show, will be broadcast live from New York City, with host Tim Brando and Spencer Tillman. Vin DeVito produces and Linda Malino directs. Harold Bryant is Vice President, Production, CBS Sports.
