CBS Airs Celebrity Skiing on the CBS Sports Spectacular

This will air either before or after NFL regional action in your local market. If you’re into watching celebrities attempt to ski, then the Deer Valley Celebrity Skifest is totally up your alley. There’s not much more I can add to this so let’s just post what I have.

CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR HITS THE SLOPES WITH “DEER VALLEY CELEBRITY SKIFEST” ON SUNDAY, DEC. 4

CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR features the 20th anniversary of the DEER VALLEY CELEBRITY SKIFEST from Deer Valley, Utah on Sunday, Dec. 4 (5:00-6:00 PM; 3:00-4:00 PM in late NFL markets; Taped 12/3/11). Four teams with five celebrity skiers per team compete head-to-head for a chance to become this year’s Deer Valley Celebrity Skifest champions. Each team is captained by a former Olympian: Phil Mahre, Steve Mahre, Tommy Moe and Heidi Voelker. Along with the many celebrities attending and participating in the event including Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm), Cheryl Hines (Suburgatory), Oliver Hudson, Bianca Kajlish and Patrick Warburton (Rules of Engagement), Perrey Reeves (Entourage), and Terrell Owens, Saturday night’s Waterkeeper Benefit Gala will not disappoint, as Grammy Award-winning artist Mary J. Blige and Billboard chart-topper, Gavin DeGraw, hit the stage for some very special live performances. The skifest benefits the Waterkeeper Alliance, an organization led by its founder, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., devoted to protecting fresh water resources around the world. Trace Worthington, A.J. Kitt and Maria Sansone cover all the action from the slopes for CBS Sports. CBS Sports’ Suzanne Smith serves as coordinating producer.

Harold Bryant is Executive Producer and Vice President, Production, CBS Sports

And we’re done. Good night.
