We have this update from CBS Sports regarding their U.S. Open coverage on Saturday. The men’s semifinals will go as scheduled and be aired starting at noon Eastern. However with the rain delays this week, the men’s and women’s finals were pushed back a day. Women’s finals will air Sunday at 4 p.m. ET on CBS and the men’s will go at 4 p.m. ET on Monday also on CBS.
And while it’s nice to see the live tennis, CBS has decided to disrespect the Samantha Stosur-Angelique Kerber match and not put it on TV. As Richard Deitsch of Sports Illustrated tweets, the match will go at 6 p.m. ET and stream live on USOpen.org, Why not give this to Tennis Channel? Why do this?
CBS will air the Serena Williams-Caroline Wozniacki match at 8 p.m.

Coverage during the day is highlighted by the top four men’s seeds vying to play in the championship on Monday, Sept. 12 (4:00 PM, ET) as No. 1-seed Novak Djokovic takes on No. 3-seed Roger Federer; and No. 2-seed Rafael Nadal plays No. 4-seed Andy Murray.

Working his 31st U.S. Open, Bob Mansbach will serve as coordinating producer of CBS Sports’ live coverage of tennis’ final major of the year.
