First, Neil Best of Newsday writes that MLB Network has made its first major hire taking Tony Petitti away from CBS Sports. Pete Dougherty of the Albany Times Union also has the story in his blog. Maury Brown of the Biz of Baseball blog is all over the story as well. Jon Lafayette of TV Week talks about Petitti’s departure from CBS Sports. Paul J.
