CBS College Sports To Air 2011 ECAC Hockey Championship

ECAC Hockey to Air on CBS College Sports Network

ALBANY, N.Y. — ECAC Hockey announced today that it has partnered with CBS College Sports Network to broadcast the 2011 ECAC Men’s Hockey Semifinals and Championship games live from Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey on March 18 and 19. 
“We are excited to be partnering with CBS College Sports for the upcoming men’s championship,” said ECAC Hockey Commissioner Steve Hagwell. “It is a tremendous opportunity for the League and our fans across the country to be able to see our student-athletes in action at the League’s annual March event.”
The 2011 ECAC Men’s Hockey Championship semifinals will be held Friday, March 18.  The first semifinal contest is slated to begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by the second semifinal game set for 7:30 p.m..  The following day, Saturday, March 19, the championship final will be broadcast live at 7:30 p.m. from the historic venue. 
Following is breakdown of the championship television schedule:
FRIDAY, MARCH 18 (SEMIFINALS)
Semifinal No. 1 – 4:30 p.m.; Semifinal No. 2 – 7:30 p.m.
SATURDAY, MARCH 19 (CHAMPIONSHIP GAME)
Championship Game – 7:30 p.m.

CBS College Sports Network will also broadcast the regular season match-up between Yale and Cornell Friday, November 19 (7:30 p.m.) from James Lynah Rink in Ithaca, New York.
