CBS College Sports Bring Back Tony Barnhart & Inside College Football

CBS College Sports which picked up carriage on Comcast and a couple of other providers over the summer brings back two of its signature programs from last fall. Here is the press release.

TUESDAY IS COLLEGE FOOTBALL NIGHT ON CBS COLLEGE SPORTS NETWORK WITH “THE TONY BARNHART SHOW” AND “INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALL”  BEGINNING AUGUST 31

SEASON PREMIERE OF “THE TONY BARNHART SHOW” FOCUSES ON CONFERENCE RE-ALIGNMENT WITH COMMISSIONERS OF BIG TEN JIM DELANY AND PAC-10 LARRY SCOTT
“Mr. College Football,” Tony Barnhart returns to CBS College Sports Network for a second season to host THE TONY BARNHART SHOW, the critically acclaimed weekly one-hour primetime college football talk show. The hard-hitting program debates and analyzes the hot topics and issues facing college football both on and off-the-field. THE TONY BARNHART SHOW season premiere on Tuesday, Aug. 31 (9:00 PM, ET) focuses on the biggest off-season story, conference re-alignment, with Big Ten Commissioner Jim Delany and Pac-10 Commissioner Larry Scott.
Barnhart again will invite a variety of high-profile guests from the college football community to the program, including coaches, administrators, writers, broadcasters and former players. Barnhart, along with CBS College Sports Network studio analyst Brian Jones and distinguished guests, offer in-depth lively, opinionated, topical discussions on the world of college football. Last year’s eclectic guests included political consultant James Carville, Senator Orrin Hatch, actress Sela Ward, political commentator Bob Beckel, movie director John Lee Hancock, SEC Head of Officials Rogers Redding, Amani Toomer and others. This season Beano Cook joins the show for a new segment called the “Closing Drive,” with his unique take on college football, as well as prominent guests from outside college football.
INSIDE COLLEGE FOOTBALLfollows THE TONY BARNHART SHOW every Tuesday throughout the season (10:00 PM, ET) with host Adam Zucker, along with analysts Aaron Taylor, Randy Cross and Jones. The one-hour fast-paced show offers a preview of the upcoming week’s college football action with opinion, insight and analysis of the most significant storylines and match-ups across the country.
