Sunday's NHL Stanley Cup Playoff Game Times & Networks

Just confirmed by the NHL, NBC and CBC, we have the games, times and networks for the three contests that will be played on Sunday, April 22. We had to wait for Philadelphia-Pittsburgh and Detroit-Nashville tonight to finish to get these times and networks.

NBC and CBC will have doubleheaders. TSN and NBC Sports Network will have single games. If the Boston-Washington series ends on Sunday, then NESN and Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic will have aired their last NHL games on Thursday.

Here’s the schedule and networks for Sunday. All times are Eastern

Eastern Conference Quarterfinals
Game 6: Pittsburgh at Philadelphia, noon — NBC/TSN
Game 6: Boston at Washington, 3 p.m. — NBC/CBC

Western Conference Quarterfinals
Game 5: Los Angeles at Vancouver, 8 p.m. — CBC/NBC Sports Sports Network

I hope to get announcing assignments, but if I had to guess, Dave Strader and Brian Engblom would call Pittsburgh-Philadelphia at noon. Mike Emrick, Ed Olczyk and Pierre McGuire will go to Washington after calling Game 5 of Washington at Boston the day before.

And I’ll say John Forslund and Daryl Reaugh head to Vancouver to call the game for NBC Sports Network.

Once I get the assignments confirmed, I’ll pass them along.
