Some Thursday Night World Cup Preview Links

Let’s give you a few links tonight. Couldn’t do a linkage today and I suspect that the megalinks will be up tomorrow night instead of during the day as I’ll be moving between two offices.

We have a lot links previewing World Cup coverage as it begins on Friday. So we’ll devote this entire post to the event.

First, the Associated Press catches up with ESPN main World Cup voice Martin Tyler on the eve of the World Cup.

David Bauder of the Associated Press writes that the World Cup is part of a global strategy by ESPN to show the network can televise an event of grand magnitude.
