CBC’s coverage the NHL Conference Finals begins Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET, the traditional Hockey Night in Canada slot, with Game 1 of the Boston-Pittsburgh series. CBC will carry the Eastern Conference Final in its entirety.
The main Hockey Night in Canada crew of Jim Hughson and Craig Simpson will be in the broadcast booth in Pittsburgh and Boston for the duration. Glenn Healey will be positioned in-between the benches and Scott Oake will provide reports rinkside.
CBC will pick up the Western Conference Final with Game 4 on Thursday, June 6 in Los Angeles at 9 p.m. ET. And CBC will air the series until the conclusion. TSN has the rights to the first three games of the series.
Calling the Chicago-Los Angeles series will be the legendary Bob Cole with Kelly Hrudey high above rinkside. Garry Galley will be the rinkside analyst. Cassie Campbell-Pascall will be the reporter.

May 29, 2013 – Four teams remain in the hunt for hockey’s greatest prize and CBC’S HOCKEY NIGHT IN CANADA gives fans the best seat in the house as the 2013 Stanley Cup Playoffs continue with the Conference Finals. CBC has exclusive coverage of the entire Pittsburgh vs. Boston series, beginning Saturday, June 1, as well as every potential series-clinching game of the Chicago vs. Los Angeles series, beginning with Game 4 on Thursday, June 6. As the exclusive Canadian broadcaster of the Stanley Cup Final, CBC is the only place fans will see the Stanley Cup raised by the Champions. The Eastern Conference Final gets underway Saturday, June 1 at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) as Zdeno Chara and the Boston Bruins head to Pittsburgh to take on Sidney Crosby and the Penguins. Jim Hughson is joined by Craig Simpson (@hnicsimmer) as they call the action for this series with Glenn Healy providing analysis from between the benches and Scott Oake (@ScottOake) reporting.
