First, Michael Zuidema of the Grand Rapids Press has a story on Dan Patrick’s departure from ESPN and he also has some critical words for the Alleged Worldwide Leader.

ESPN Radio is looking for a program director for its New York station, 1050 ESPN Radio, according to Neil Best of Newsday.

If you have the NFL Network, then you’ll like 52 exhibition games in 29 days. Many of the games will be tape delayed.

Chris Zelkovich of the Toronto Star has high praise for the British soccer announcers being used by CBC Sports for the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

I know, not much of an update, but we’re in the dog days of summer so the pickings are rather slim. I’ll have primetime viewing picks later.
