After this was originally leaked by NBC in a Sports Listings press release, the NHL decided it might as well come out with it tonight and that’s exactly what it did. Game 1 will begin in Vancouver on Wednesday, June 1 with Game 2 on June 4 giving CBC one game on a Saturday, its traditional Hockey Night in Canada slot. The rest of the schedule will go Monday, Wednesday, Friday, with a potential Game 7 in Vancouver on Wednesday, June 15. In the States, NBC will air Games 1 and 2, then give way to Versus for Games 3 and 4 with NBC taking the rest of the games.
CBC will have its crew of Jim Hughson, Craig Simpson, Glenn Healy and Elliote Friedman calling the games. NBC/Versus will go with Mike Emrick, Ed Olcyzk, and antichrist Pierre McGuire.
Here’s the NHL press release containing the entire schedule.
