Let’s do some linkage on this Labor Day holiday. There aren’t too many links today, but I’ll give you what’s out there. Starting with Multichannel News, Mike Reynolds reviews the US Open in 3-D. Also at Multichannel, Mike, Todd Spangler and John Eggerton look at CBS and DirecTV teaming up for 3-D at the Open. […]

In Sports Illustrated, Andy Staples and Stewart Mandel look at the ten trends that will influence college football in this decade including how TV will be involved.  At Pro Football Talk, Mike Florio says after using HBO’s Hard Knocks […]

Your Thursday Links

Let’s do the Thursday links as I have to leave early to avoid Patriots traffic ahead of their preseason game against the Saints tonight. Onto the links. The Wednesday Links

Let’s do the links for the middle of the week. USA Today’s Michael Hiestand says the NFL TV partners are salivating over if and when Brett Favre retires. I don’t want to see him after he retires. Sick of him. Milton Kent of Fanhouse writes that Darelle Revis’ holdout from New York Jets camp provides […]

Turner Sports To Produce The 92nd PGA Championship In 3-D

2010 will be remembered as the year where 3-D TV really gained a foothold on sports television. Looking back on the test events last year and compare that to the number of events produced in 3-D this year, you have a considerable jump in the amount of sports produced in the 3rd dimension. Well, Turner […]

Some Additional Wednesday Links

Ok, let me provide you with some additional linkage here. I got interrupted and posted my original links rather hastily. Then I had to tape this week’s Sports Media Weekly Podcast with Keith Thibault and our guest, Susan Shan so let’s bring you the rest of the linkage now. We’re getting word that ESPN spiked […]

The Day Is Shot For Me Links

Having had to take Dad to the eye doctor then being told that I can’t go to the Massachusetts office because he’s taking a client to lunch is really killing me. Not having a car is killing me. Not having my own schedule is killing me. And after today, the blogging schedule will be light […]

Our Mid-Week Linkage

Another day, another scorcher. It’s hot. But you know that. It’s summer. It gets hot. Nothing more need be said about it. Let’s get to linkage. Robert Klemko of USA Today has the ratings of some of the weekend TV events. Even before ESPN announced that LeBron James would make an announcement on where he […]

Back To Work Tuesday Linkage

We go back to work today after a nice three day weekend off. It also depends on how nice it was depending on where you’re located. It was mostly a scorcher in the Northeast where I’m located. It will continue to be a scorcher for most of the week so if you’re in an area […]
