NFL on CBS Unveils Its 2013-14 Announcing Teams

This put forth by CBS Sports, the announcing teams for this season’s NFL on CBS production. No real changes. Jim Nantz and Phil Simms are the lead team. Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf remain the “B” team.

The “Bird and the Beard,” Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts are back as the “C” team and Marv Albert and Rich Gannon come back as the “D” team.

CBS has the deepest bench between it and Fox Sports.

THE NFL TODAY Anchored by James Brown, Dan Marino, Bill Cowher, Boomer Esiason and Shannon Sharpe

The CBS Television Network begins its 54th year of broadcasting the NFL on Sunday, Sept. 8 (12:00 Noon-4:00 PM, ET) as Jim Nantz and Phil Simms lead THE NFL ON CBS into the Network’s 2013 NFL season.  CBS Sports’ complete roster of announce teams for its 54th year of NFL coverage was announced today by Sean McManus, Chairman, CBS Sports, and Executive Producer, THE NFL ON CBS.

James Brown anchors the CBS Television Network’s pre-game studio show, THE NFL TODAY, along with analysts Dan Marino, Boomer Esiason, Shannon Sharpe and Bill Cowher from the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City. Jason La Canfora begins his second year as the “NFL Insider,” while Lesley Visser serves as a contributor for the show. This season marks the 46th year of THE NFL TODAY on the CBS Television Network.

THE NFL ON CBS announce team is solidified as the deepest in sports television as Greg Gumbel once again calls games alongside Dan Dierdorf; Ian Eagle teams with Dan Fouts; Marv Albert pairs with Rich Gannon to call games; Kevin Harlan once again teams with Solomon Wilcots; Bill Macatee with Steve Tasker; and Spero Dedes pairs with Steve Beuerlein.

McManus also serves as Executive Producer for THE NFL ON CBS.
