This is mostly for the weekend. I have to make sure I don’t allow the releases to pile up like this, but sometimes it can’t be helped.
Anyway, this is from NBC and it’ll be showing figure skating for the most part, but there’s other programming this weekend.
GRAND PRIX OF FIGURE SKATING THIS WEEKEND ON NBC SPORTS
NBC Sports & Universal Sports Combine to Present 10 Hours of Coverage From Nagano
NEW YORK – November 5, 2009- NBC Sports and Universal Sports present 10 hours of coverage this weekend of the fourth stop of the 2009 ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series this Sunday from Nagano, Japan. Skaters from Team USA will compete against athletes from 13 other countries, all vying for points and prize money and ultimately spots representing their country at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. Coverage on NBC Sports begins Sunday at 2 p.m. ET and coverage on Universal Sports begins Friday at 5 p.m. ET.
NBC Sports' broadcast will feature coverage of the ladies and men's free skates and Universal Sports will carry coverage of the pairs and ice dancing finals and the men's and ladies short programs.
LADIES: Leading the U.S. ladies contingent is two-time World Junior bronze medalist Ashley Wagner. Wagner took second at the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Series in Moscow last month. Among those competing against her in Nagano is Becky Bereswill who was the 2008 Junior Grand Prix Final champion.
MEN: On the men's side 2008 World bronze medalist Johnny Weir, who took home silver from this event in 2008 and gold in 2004, will compete. Joining him in Nagano is 2009 U.S. champion and 2008 Grand Prix Final champion Jeremy Abbott and two – time World Junior champion (2008-09), 2008 US Junior champion and the 2007 Junior Grand Prix Final champion Adam Rippon.
PAIRS: Americans Caydee Denney and Jeremy Barrett will make their Grand Prix series debut in Nagano; pairing up in June 2008, they won the silver medal at the 2009 U.S. Championships and ninth-place finish at the World Championships. The champions from The Grand Prix event in Paris last month, Rena Inoue and John Baldwin will also be strong contenders in Nagano.
ICE DANCING: Returning U.S. champions, Meryl Davis and Charlie White will vie to stay on top while at Nagano. Davis and White are the 2009 U.S. and Four Continents champions and they missed the bronze medal at the 2009 World Championships by just .04 points. Davis and White are joined by fellow Americans, Jane Summersett and Todd Gilles.

PBR FINALS, SUNDAY, 4 PM ET
NBC Sports will air the 2009 Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Built Ford Tough World Finals. The PBR is the premier bull riding organization in the world, boasting contestants from the United States, Mexico, Australia, Brazil, and Canada. The finals will showcase the greatest bull riding athletes on the planet in Las Vegas as they vie for more than $3 million in prize money. The top 15 riders based upon their total cumulative scores after seven rounds will qualify to compete in one final decisive round of competition.
On Saturday, Fox Sports Ohio goes behind the scenes with the Columbus Blue Jackets. Cameras will be everywhere.

COLUMBUS, OHIO – FOX Sports Ohio announces Columbus Blue Jackets All Access, this Saturday, November 7 when the Jackets take on the Carolina Hurricanes at Nationwide Arena. This special game telecast will offer fans a unique behind-the-scenes view of the game with more access to players, coaches and fans than ever before.

Secaucus, NJ, November 6, 2009 – A new season of MLB Network’s Studio 42 with Bob Costas premieres on Tuesday, November 10 with an exclusive sit-down interview with Major League Baseball Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig at 8:00 p.m. ET. In the premiere episode, Costas and Selig discuss umpiring, stadium ticket prices, competitive balance, scheduling, performance enhancing drugs and former MLB player and manager Pete Rose.
Costas, one of the most accomplished and highly decorated sports broadcasters in history, will continue to host new one-hour interviews every Tuesday in November, including a conversation with longtime Detroit Tigers broadcaster Ernie Harwell on November 17. Additional episodes focusing on the history of baseball and the game’s most significant figures and topics will follow.
The first season of Studio 42 with Bob Costas debuted on January 1, 2009 with an interview with Don Larsen & Yogi Berra that was interspersed throughout the airing of Larsen’s perfect game in the 1956 World Series, which appeared on television for the first time since its original broadcast. Other interviews throughout the season featured former St. Louis Cardinals teammates Hall of Famer Bob Gibson and Tim McCarver, St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa, Los Angeles Dodgers manager Joe Torre, author and former New York Yankees pitcher Jim Bouton, and former Major League Baseball umpires Don Denkinger, Bruce Froemming and Steve Palermo.
