I’m going to group two releases from two different networks to save space and to use the jump break which I haven’t used in a while.
First, we have an announcement from Big Ten Network which discusses college basketball programming which will be seen on Sunday nights. Not actual games, but a look into the history of the Big Ten as well as reality programming too.

The popular, documentary-style program takes viewers deep inside Big Ten basketball programs, spending consecutive days with different Big Ten teams on a rotating basis during the 10-week march toward the Big Ten Tournament. The program was named the 2010 co-winner of the best sports show/series by CableFAX magazine, along with ESPN’s 30 for 30. New in 2011, fans of the show are invited to experience the Journey on Twitter (@BTNJourney) to get daily updates and bonus content from show producers and editors.At 9:30 PM ET, lead studio host Dave Revsine hosts Big Ten Basketball and Beyond along with two-time Big Ten Player of the Year and former Buckeye All-American Jim Jackson and The Sporting News’ national columnist Mike DeCourcy. The trio will review the week’s top headlines, preview the week’s top games and look at how the national storylines might affect the Big Ten.Big Ten Icons, hosted by Hall of Fame sportscaster Keith Jackson, continues its countdown to number one. The 20-episode series is coming down the home stretch, with Icons nine through one still to be profiled. Sunday’s profile of former Purdue shooting star and All-American Rick Mount is at 10 PM ET.Beginning Jan. 16, the three shows settle into their regular time periods, with the Journey at 8 PM ET, Beyond at 8:30 and Big Ten Icons at 9 PM ET.With 111 men’s basketball games, including 64 conference matchups, the Big Ten Network will air more Big Ten basketball games than any other network this season. In addition to the Sunday night lineup, the Big Ten Network will have men’s basketball telecasts on Tuesdays, Super Wednesday doubleheaders, Thursdays and Saturdays. The network also will feature women’s basketball doubleheaders on Thursdays, and additional women’s basketball game telecasts on Sundays.

Host Adam Zucker is joined by former Miami (Ohio) star and NBA All-Star Wally Szczerbiak and college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, who joins the Network this season.
